Liftoff Increases Install-to-Order Rates by 72.2% for Talabat

Talabat, a major online food delivery service in the Middle East, faced a challenge with their mobile user acquisition campaign in Saudi Arabia. Their goals were to lower cost-per-install (CPI) and cost-per-action (CPA) while increasing the rate of users who install their app and then place a food order. They partnered with the vendor Liftoff and its machine learning platform to address this.

Liftoff implemented a solution using its ML platform to create lookalike profiles of high-value users and programmatically bid on ads for this audience. They also performed A/B testing on ad creatives. The results were significant, with a CPA decrease of 15.5% and a massive 72.2% increase in install-to-action rates. This success allowed Talabat to scale its average daily ad spend by 25.5%.
