Liftoff Exceeds ROAS Goals and Boosts LTV for German Retailer

OTTO, the German e-commerce retailer, wanted to grow app revenue by attracting new mobile users who would become loyal, high-value customers. To do that, OTTO looked for an advertising partner that could deliver strong return on ad spend (ROAS) with a high level of automation, and chose Liftoff’s mobile user acquisition platform.

Liftoff launched app campaigns for OTTO on iOS and Android using its CPR model to optimize toward high-spending users, while OTTO used creative testing and internal attribution to track ROAS and LTV. The results were strong: D30 ROAS beat targets by 72% on Android and 236% on iOS, OTTO scaled spend 400% over two years, and the app became OTTO’s top channel for traffic and purchases.
