Delivery Hero, the multinational online food ordering and delivery company behind PedidosYa, needed to scale user acquisition across 15 countries in Latin America for an app serving a broad set of needs, from food delivery to groceries and pharmaceuticals. To do so, Delivery Hero worked with Liftoff and its programmatic DSP, Accelerate, to drive app installs and improve conversion to first-purchase events.
Liftoff supported Delivery Hero with incrementality testing on Android to measure the true impact of its UA campaigns. The tests showed strong incremental lift in key LATAM markets, including a 23% install conversion rate uplift and 22.6% event conversion rate lift in Argentina for restaurant orders, a 17.5% install uplift and 14% event lift in Argentina for grocery deliveries, and a 26% install uplift and 14% event lift in Peru. Based on these results, Delivery Hero increased Android ad spend in both markets by double digits.
