CashWalk, a healthcare app that encourages users to walk and earn cash rewards, wanted to move beyond its original banner ad model and find a new monetization strategy. To do this, it partnered with Liftoff, using video ad technology to introduce a new incentive-based ad experience for its users.
Liftoff helped CashWalk implement a three-part monetization approach, including a mini-game-style video ad, access to a broader network of gaming advertisers, and expansion into the Korean iOS market. The result was a more balanced user experience and a daily ad revenue increase of up to $3K, along with a 30% boost in reach after iOS expansion.
