American Student Assistance (ASA), a national nonprofit helping students plan their education and careers, needed to grow traffic to its ASAfuturescape.org website and reach more 13- to 18-year-olds. Because most of its audience spends time in mobile apps, ASA turned to Liftoff and its Accelerate app-to-web solution to expand beyond paid social and search while focusing on mobile acquisition.

Liftoff’s Accelerate campaign used in-app playable, video, and interstitial creatives, optimized for birthday age-gate submissions, and leveraged machine learning to improve performance over time. Results quickly improved from initial $10–$15 CPAs to a consistent $1.00–$1.50 CPA range on both Android and iOS, helping ASA scale user acquisition efficiently while freeing the team to test other channels.
