CIRAN, a Dutch outpatient rehabilitation provider based in Venlo, launched a Tele‑Consultations program across 19 locations to reduce patient and clinician travel during a tightly scheduled 16‑week rehabilitation pathway. The organization required an easy‑to‑use, high‑definition video solution with efficient bandwidth options and the ability to record consultations for the Electronic Patient Dossier.

CIRAN deployed LifeSize Bridge, LifeSize Control and LifeSize UVC Video Center (with support from Kreuze Telecom and Alcatel‑Lucent), enabling two‑screen HD consultations so clinicians can view patients and medical records simultaneously. The system simplified scheduling and recording, reduced patient transfers and travel time, preserved treatment outcomes within the program window, and increased patient satisfaction and staff efficiency.
