TUI Nederland Upgrades to LifeSize HD Video

TUI Nederland, a subsidiary of TUI AG and one of the Netherlands’ largest travel agencies with about 220 outlets, had relied on decade-old standard-definition videoconferencing to connect offices. As travel times grew and video calls became jittery and low-resolution, managers found the technology insufficient for efficient communication and sought a higher-quality, more reliable solution.

After evaluating LifeSize HD at ISE2007, TUI installed LifeSize Room and Team systems in four key locations via dealer GO Telecom. The upgrade delivered clear, smooth multipoint HD calls that are easy to set up, driving daily use, more frequently booked meeting rooms, routine three-site conferences on the built-in MCU, reduced travel and costs, and better support for expanded international collaboration.
