Toshiba TEC Europe, a Brussels-based subsidiary of Toshiba that supplies retail information systems across multiple European countries, faced outdated ISDN-based video endpoints that hindered frequent collaboration with its Japanese headquarters and growing European offices. The company needed a reliable, high-quality IP video solution that would connect project teams across Europe and Japan over its existing MPLS network.

Working with RealDolmen, Toshiba TEC installed a LifeSize Room system at headquarters and LifeSize Team HD endpoints in key branch offices, using the Room’s built-in MCU for multipoint conferences. The deployment cut inter-office travel by about 70%, delivered a strong ROI and lower network costs, and is now heavily used for internal and external meetings and product trainings—allowing simultaneous training across multiple countries and freeing up significant time.
