Ligentia is a global freight and supply chain specialist with 22 offices worldwide, focused on improving supply chain performance for retail, manufacturing, defense and mining customers. Facing the need to involve remote workers in decision-making, capture usage and ROI data, improve teamwork and processes, and cut travel costs, Ligentia worked with Lifesize partner VideoCentric to evaluate video conferencing solutions.

Following trials and a pilot, Ligentia deployed Lifesize’s cloud-based video, audio and data-sharing platform with integrated meeting rooms across key offices (Leeds, London, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Brisbane). The easy-to-use, secure solution delivered admin reporting and mobile access, cut travel and time costs (with Hong Kong and Shanghai switching monthly meetings to video), improved cross-language communication through visual cues, generated positive user feedback, and enabled ongoing tracking of usage and savings as the company plans wider rollout.
