North Country HealthCare Chooses LifeSize ClearSea to Connect Remote Clinics, Provide Mobile Treatment to Local Students and Professionals

North Country HealthCare (NCHC) is the only publicly supported community health center serving 13–14 communities across northern Arizona, many of them rural and underserved. Facing chronic difficulty staffing and retaining physicians in remote locations and needing a way to link sites up to 600 miles apart, NCHC found its legacy video system wasn’t robust enough for wireless networks or mobile devices.

NCHC deployed LifeSize ClearSea, a secure, mobile- and desktop-compatible video solution, across its clinics and in a mobile RV clinic equipped with iPads. The platform enables real-time, face-to-face care (with synchronous image sharing), quick access to specialists and interpreters, and has extended services to schoolchildren and local employees—allowing NCHC to reach more patients with improved convenience and clinical quality.
