The National Consortium of Services (CNS) is an Italian cooperative of service specialists with 170 member cooperatives providing facility management, maintenance, catering, energy, logistics and museum services. CNS needed a secure, easy-to-use and interoperable communication platform that could support a large supplier base and growing membership without requiring IT to facilitate routine meetings.

CNS deployed eight Lifesize video systems in Bologna, Milan and Rome and adopted the WebRTC-friendly Lifesize app so anyone can join from a laptop or device. The solution—averaging about 107 video calls per month and 63,000 minutes of use this year—has cut travel, improved collaboration and employee satisfaction, streamlined partner communication, and is viewed as a valuable corporate welfare and green initiative.
