A Lifesize Case Study

How Lifesize Cloud-based Video Communication Technology is Helping Comfort Company Save Time, Money and Resources

Comfort Company, a Montana-based manufacturer of seating and positioning equipment founded in 1990, grew a dispersed sales force and international distributor network that made in-person training and sales travel expensive and inefficient. Early attempts with tools like GoToMeeting produced poor-quality calls, so the company needed a reliable, scalable way to connect trainers, sales reps and partners across long distances.

After a successful Lifesize demo, Comfort adopted Lifesize’s cloud-based video conferencing (plus Icon room systems) and integrated it with Skype for Business, using the web app, screen sharing and chat for sales, training and HR interviews. The change eliminated much travel, cut costs and wasted time, improved communication with providers and distributors, and delivered a scalable, cost-effective solution that better supports their growing global operations.
