Ehrmann AG, a century-old German dairy with production and sales sites across Europe, the USA, Russia and China, needed a better way to maintain uniform processes and close coordination—especially for SAP-driven purchasing and finance—without the expense and time of frequent international travel. Ehrmann deployed LifeSize Room 220 systems at headquarters, LifeSize Express 220 units at three other sites and a Networker for phone/ISDN integration, choosing HD cameras and lip‑synced sound for reliable, one‑button conferences. The solution enabled whole departments to meet remotely, improved product demos and shared presentations, drove regular adoption across staff, cut travel costs and is expected to pay for itself in about a year, with plans to expand the rollout.
