Case Western Reserve University Chooses LifeSize to Deliver HD Video to faculty and staff

Case Western Reserve University, a longtime pioneer in video communications, needed an HD conferencing solution that delivered true-to-life quality, built-in collaboration tools, easy deployment and use, and a fiscally sensible option for university-funded deployments through its Videoconferencing Opportunity Grant program.

The university selected LifeSize Team systems for their crystal-clear HD, simple interface and standards-based compatibility. Campus-wide adoption grew quickly—about 30 departments applied for grants—and today Case uses roughly 5,000 minutes of video per month across the School of Medicine, Nursing, EECS, the Career Center, Housing and Greek Life, enabling live telesurgery broadcasts, remote interviews, distance learning and improved faculty-student interactions.
