Barnardo’s uses LifeSize HD Video Communications to Reduce Travel, Keep Regionally Dispersed Teams Connected

Barnardo’s, one of the UK’s largest children’s charities supporting over 100,000 children, faced a communications challenge: nearly 17,000 staff and volunteers spread across regional and national offices needed frequent, face-to-face interaction, but travel costs and time were rising—forcing the charity to find a cost-effective way to connect teams while preserving service delivery.

Barnardo’s implemented an organization-wide roll-out of LifeSize HD video systems (Team MP, Express, Room) plus LifeSize Control management software. The solution cut travel and travel-related expenses, improved internal and external collaboration (including partnerships with universities and other charities), reduced the charity’s carbon footprint, and was quickly adopted across the organization thanks to its ease of use and IT-led user support.
