Worker Compensation Insurance provider CopperPoint upgrades to a personalized online experience with Liferay

CopperPoint, Arizona’s largest workers’ compensation insurer, needed to prepare for aggressive growth and raise customer service through a unified, intuitive portal. The company wanted a mobile-friendly site and account management, personalized role-based experiences for policyholders, agents and staff, robust RBAC and SSO, an easy web/document CMS for nontechnical users, and seamless integration with legacy systems.

CopperPoint chose Liferay with implementation by Xtivia to build a responsive public site and a private Policy Holder Portal (launched July 2014) using a service-oriented architecture and SPA components. The platform delivered personalized content and functions, delegated permissions, self-serve and automated registration, SSO, legacy-system integration, analytics and enterprise search—resulting in thousands of users across desktop and mobile, faster publishing by business users, and a cohesive, modern user experience.
