Terres Inovia - Customer Case Study

Terres Inovia is a French applied research institute that connects researchers, industry actors and farmers to improve oilseeds, protein crops and hemp. Confronted with an outdated site that couldn’t gather user data or deliver personalized, real‑time crop advice, the institute needed a clearer, mobile‑friendly experience and an e‑commerce space to promote its products and services.

Working with 15 farmers and using Liferay DXP and Liferay Commerce, Terres Inovia launched a responsive site with role‑based profiles, a “My account” dashboard that delivers crop‑ and location‑specific content in real time, and an online catalog with Mercanet payments. The redesign halved the bounce rate and drove strong engagement—about 8,000 connected users, 256,000+ visitors and 2,000,000 page views in one year (roughly double the prior year)—along with increased customer contacts and quote requests.
