Philadelphia uses Liferay as one single platform for all communication

The Philadelphia Care Foundation supports more than 8,000 people with intellectual disabilities across about 500 locations in the Netherlands. Facing strict privacy and safety requirements, the foundation needed accessible, future-proof communication for employees, volunteers, clients, relatives and referrers but information was scattered across multiple systems.

Working with Valamis Benelux, Philadelphia implemented the Liferay platform to create a single, personalized portal—an intranet (with native app), a community site, a corporate site and “My Philadelphia”—with SSO, unified data management and dynamic content delivery. The result was consolidated, safer and lower‑cost site management, improved accessibility and engagement, growth in visitors and contributions, and more relevant content for each audience.
