Domino’s, a global leader in pizza with over 12,000 stores, faced persistent communication gaps between corporate, franchisees and store teams spread across geographies and roles, compounded by the expense and complexity of multiple software tools. Critical updates and operational information were slipping through the cracks, making it hard to keep everyone aligned.
Using Liferay, Domino’s built dLive—a role-based, customizable intranet with separate Store, Franchisee and Corporate homepages, secure permissions, social sharing and subscription-based news. The new single hub doubled weekly traffic (from ~8,000 to ~20,000), enabled multidirectional communication, and drove a measurable culture shift toward greater collaboration across the organization.
