A Liferay Case Study
Cross Country Home Services (CCHS) is a national home-warranty and maintenance provider serving customers across all 50 states. Facing a new direct-to-consumer strategy, CCHS had more than fifteen consumer and partner websites running on disparate platforms, which increased total cost of ownership and reduced business agility. The company needed a scalable, maintainable web architecture to simplify content sharing, speed development, and support growth.
CCHS selected Liferay as the enterprise portal and Xtivia as implementation partner, using an agile, Scrum-based approach to deliver a unified CMS/portal with site staging, workflows, enterprise search, RESTful integrations to Oracle EBS and CRM, and a high-availability infrastructure. The team migrated the public site (cchs.com) to Liferay in under three months and launched the consumer site (totalprotect.com) less than a month later, trained content owners, and began migrating other sites—resulting in faster speed to market, lower IT costs, and greater agility for new products and markets.
