Case Study: Adama achieves seamless global CMS migration and improved usability with Liferay

A Liferay Case Study

Preview of the Adama Case Study

A flexible CMS empowered Adama to transition its legacy systems seamlessly

Adama, a global crop protection company with more than 6,000 employees operating in 100+ countries, needed to migrate over 50 local websites and numerous micro product sites in about 40 languages from an aging CMS without disrupting live operations. The project faced a poor editor UX, complex third-party integrations, and the need to train nearly 100 web editors worldwide during the migration.

Partnering with PRODYNA, Adama rebuilt its public site on Liferay using out‑of‑the‑box web content structures, page templates and integrations (ADFS SSO, PicturePark), migrating content in four region-based waves with onsite training, a multilingual service desk and bi-monthly webinars. The new responsive, scalable platform enables instant publishing, lets local editors customize pages within global brand guidelines, improves usability, and delivers personalized, 24/7 customer experiences worldwide.
