Suez’s Industrial Waste Specialties (IWS) unit, part of France’s leading water and waste management group, faced the challenge of handling large volumes of hazardous waste while ensuring strict traceability, protecting staff and the environment, meeting demanding customer expectations for fast on‑site unloading, and complying with complex regulations that created significant administrative overhead.

Suez implemented a web B2B portal and a native mobile app (GAMA), tightly integrated in real time with its ERP and a Bluetooth-connected weighing system, to replace paper processes with a four-step digital workflow for registration, administrative checks, on-site unloading/weighing and data validation. The solution delivered faster, more reliable processing and tracking, eliminated manual data re-entry, enabled photo-based nonconformity handling, increased daily truck capacity, and improved overall customer and team satisfaction.
