A Liferay Case Study

Preview of the KLESIA Case Study

3.5 million Klesia users benefit from new portal architecture

KLESIA is a paritarian social security group formed in 2012 from the merger of Mornay and D&O, providing complementary pensions and personal insurance to 3.5 million people and roughly 370,000 businesses. Faced with rapid legislative change and the need to establish a unified, innovative brand quickly, the group had to launch a coherent corporate website that consolidated content and legacy systems, supported personalized services for diverse professional sectors, and worked well on mobile devices.

KLESIA chose Liferay for its flexible content management, Java-based integration, open-source agility, scalability and robustness, and implemented profile-driven authentication to deliver sector-specific services. The new branded site went live within weeks, is user-friendly and already provides customers with profile-based information; a second phase will add tailored sector portals, pensioner services and online payment capabilities—strengthening digital service for millions of users.
