The Center for Community Self-Help, a nonprofit Community Development Financial Institution, faced the challenge of providing consistent leadership development across its rapidly growing and geographically dispersed workforce. With a small L&D team and previously ad-hoc trainings, they partnered with LifeLabs Learning to build a scalable and affordable leadership program using Manager Core workshops.

LifeLabs Learning provided practical, research-based workshops that managers could apply immediately. The solution was rolled out in large cohorts, training over 200 managers—including the entire executive team—and creating a shared language across the organization. The results included a significant cultural shift, with over 80% of people leaders completing the program and LifeLabs frameworks becoming embedded in everyday work and feedback conversations.
