Leeds Partnerships NHS Foundation Trust, which provides specialist mental health and learning disability services across Leeds, faced a major licensing challenge after the NHS Connecting for Health Microsoft agreement ended: the Trust became solely responsible for funding, purchasing and proving legal entitlement for all Microsoft software across its estate. To address this they engaged License Dashboard and evaluated License Dashboard Enterprise Edition as part of a wider Software Asset Management (SAM) strategy.

Following a successful Proof of Concept, License Dashboard implemented License Dashboard Enterprise Edition and integrated it with the Trust’s Microsoft SCCM data (covering ~3,000 devices). License Dashboard’s Data Cleanse and advanced license intelligence automatically distilled installations, created a License Entitlement Statement, allocated entitlements, produced a Baseline Software Compliance Statement and standard reports (Microsoft ELP, Software Compliance, Maintenance Schedule). As a result, Leeds Partnerships NHS Foundation Trust can now effectively and automatically control the lifecycle of its software assets, demonstrate compliance and quickly report on license liability and usage.
