SGS conducts 30,000 remote inspections with Librestream

SGS, the world's leading inspection, verification, testing, and certification company, sought to enhance its inspection processes for improved safety and productivity. They aimed to implement a remote mentoring solution capable of operating in challenging field environments and across various mobile devices, partnering with vendor Librestream to achieve this.

SGS deployed a custom-branded version of Librestream’s Onsight platform, named QiiQ. This enabled real-time collaboration for remote inspections. The results included conducting over 30,000 remote inspections, which decreased travel requirements, reduced fuel costs and carbon emissions, improved productivity and staff safety, and enhanced customer service through more efficient workflows.
