Liberis helps Nets deliver a value-added financing service in the Nordics

Nets, a customer-centric payment solutions provider, faced the challenge of differentiating its proposition and creating additional value for its Nordic customers who were struggling with difficult business conditions. To address the gradual commoditization of its core markets, Nets partnered with the vendor Liberis to explore value-added services, specifically an embedded financing solution.

Liberis provided the initial capital and assumed the risk, enabling Nets to launch an integrated embedded financing offering within six months. This solution automatically collects payments from merchants' card transactions, providing flexible funding. The results for Nets include delivering over €300 million in funding, consistent triple-digit year-over-year growth, an 80%+ approval rate, and a 10% increase in transaction volumes from merchants using the service.
