A Liaison Case Study
The University of Tennessee at Martin faced a time-consuming, fragmented admissions process that required staff to gather and organize application materials one submission at a time. To streamline graduate admissions, UT Martin partnered with Liaison to implement BusinessCAS and GradCAS, the vendor’s Centralized Application Service (CAS) communities, and also worked with Liaison’s CAS onboarding team.
Liaison centralized admissions documents and data, improved transcript and international student verification, and provided onboarding and application processing support so coordinators could work remotely without delay. As a result, UT Martin staff could focus on applicant engagement rather than packaging, communication histories were easily visible, and application volumes increased despite the pandemic—outcomes the university attributes to Liaison’s platform and onboarding support.
