Schreiner University Extends Limited Recruiting Resources With Nursingcas™

Schreiner University launched a new School of Nursing to address a shortage of BSN‑prepared nurses in the Texas Hill Country but had limited time and resources to publicize the program while building curriculum, hiring faculty and managing applications manually. To scale recruiting and admissions quickly, Schreiner partnered with Liaison and adopted its NursingCAS application service.

Liaison’s NursingCAS automated application processing, GPA calculation and transcript verification, and increased the program’s visibility to prospective students nationwide, freeing staff to focus on outreach. As a result, Schreiner filled seats in its inaugural class, built a stronger applicant pool, became more selective, local hospitals began hiring its graduates, and the School launched an accelerated R.N.‑to‑B.S.N. program.
