Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business faced pandemic-related disruption in 2020 — including campus closures and drops in international applicants — while trying to sustain and grow enrollment for its graduate management programs. To broaden its reach and centralize admissions, the school adopted BusinessCAS™ (CAS™ by Liaison) from vendor Liaison.
Liaison’s BusinessCAS™ expanded the Leavey School’s applicant pool and provided application processing services that enabled effective remote review; the school reported a 33% increase in applications for Fall 2020, a 180% increase in applications for the Summer Online MBA, and a 163% increase in matriculants for that program. Liaison’s CAS also generated additional revenue for the university at no cost to the institution while helping it navigate COVID-19–related uncertainty.
