A Liaison Case Study
The University of North Texas at Dallas faced fragmented admissions processes—relying on paper, spreadsheets, and siloed communications—while transitioning from a satellite campus to a standalone university. To modernize outreach and centralize data, UNT Dallas adopted Liaison’s TargetX CRM but initially struggled with staffing, stakeholder buy-in, and underutilization of the system.
Working with Liaison and its TargetX Premier Services, UNT Dallas appointed a dedicated CRM administrator, trained staff, and launched the Trailblazer Express direct admissions program and targeted email campaigns. The result: email open rates rose from 8.6% to 64.9%, the university enrolled its largest freshman class, achieved a 71% persistence rate, and improved conversion and yield—outcomes the school attributes to Liaison’s platform, services, and ongoing partnership.
