Albert Einstein College of Medicine Streamlines Application Review With BIOMEDCAS™

Albert Einstein College of Medicine needed a better admissions platform to get applications to faculty faster, capture detailed student research experience, reduce the burden on recommenders, and attract a diverse, highly qualified applicant pool. When Liaison introduced the centralized application service BioMedCAS™, the college’s graduate admissions director Salvatore Calabro saw it as an opportunity to replace a limited legacy system and leverage consortium benchmarking through BioGAP.

Liaison implemented BioMedCAS™, standardizing biomedical-specific questions, enabling recommenders to submit a single letter to multiple programs, and allowing schools to collaborate on application design. The rollout was “simple, easy and smooth,” and Albert Einstein College of Medicine reports higher-quality applications, maintained applicant diversity, faster faculty review, and reduced administrative burden as a direct result of Liaison’s BioMedCAS™.
