The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley Builds a Connected Enrollment Strategy With Liaison TargetX

The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley faced fragmented enrollment operations across departments and systems, with redundant inquiry forms, unclear communication tracking, and slow response times. Graduate and undergraduate admissions were managed separately, making it difficult to see a full picture of student interest and engagement. UTRGV implemented Liaison TargetX to bring its enrollment strategy into one system.

With Liaison TargetX, UTRGV reduced the graduate team’s inquiry forms from 50 to 70 down to just four, improved data integrity, and gained centralized communication tracking and better workflow control. The university reported faster internal processes, improved inquiry-to-application conversion rates, and increased enrollment for both summer and fall, while staff were able to respond more quickly and make changes with less reliance on IT.
