Print Media Inc., a Miami-based manufacturer of printing supplies and recording paper for medical instruments, serves instrument makers, large distributors and hospital GPOs. Faced with virtually no EDI experience, the company was under pressure to become EDI-compliant for POs, invoices, ship notices and sales/rebate reports, while integrating a complex pricing structure, providing immediate PO-change notifications, storing inbound rebate data for reporting, and running email/fax marketing blasts.

Print Media partnered with Aurora EDI Alliance and implemented Liaison ECS and Delta, establishing trading‑partner communications and testing all transactions. Within weeks they were processing EDI with distributors and GPOs—over 30,000 transactions annually—sending PO acknowledgements by EDI and email/fax, updating prices daily with automated discrepancy alerts to customer service, and using a custom database for inbound/outbound sales/rebate reporting plus email/fax blast tools for marketing.
