Georgia Health Connect - Customer Case Study

Liaison Technologies partnered with the National Center for Primary Care (GA‑HITEC) to power Georgia Health Connect (GaHC), a regional HIE serving rural hospitals and small independent practices. GaHC’s challenge was to connect providers with limited IT budgets and expertise, fragmented EHR systems, and the need to achieve Meaningful Use across resource-constrained settings.

Liaison deployed its ALLOY Health™ cloud integration and data-management platform as GaHC’s backbone, providing a centralized patient repository, bi-directional connection to the statewide GaHIN, and lab/radiology integration accessible via EHR or web portal. The cloud solution lowered upfront costs and simplified adoption, enabling better access to comprehensive medical histories, reduced duplication and care costs, CMS EHR compliance, and improved patient outcomes for small and rural providers.
