University of Idaho Engineers Dynamic New Learning Environment with Advanced LG Video Wall Technology

The University of Idaho sought to revitalize its outdated Life Sciences South 277 lecture hall, which was critical for detailed biology and engineering courses. The main challenges included a weak projector that produced washed-out images under ambient lighting and caused disruptive glare for professors, all while a solution was needed that would not require removing seats. LG Commercial Displays provided the university's AV team with its LG LV75A thin-bezel displays to address these issues.

The solution involved creating a seamless 3x3 video wall from nine 55-inch LG displays, which delivered vibrant, Ultra HD visuals viewable from anywhere in the room. The LG LV75A's installation eliminated projector glare and vastly improved image contrast and color accuracy. This resulted in a more attentive student body and a vastly improved teaching experience, with professors now actively requesting to use the transformed and modernized classroom space.
