McCarran International Airport -Customer Case Study

McCarran International Airport faced a significant wayfinding challenge in the new Terminal D. After an operational change, passengers arriving at the D gates were presented with two terminal options, leading to confusion and the risk of travelers boarding the wrong tram to claim their baggage. The airport needed a highly visible solution to capture attention in the busy, distraction-filled environment and communicate clear directions. They partnered with vendor LG Commercial Displays to address this issue.

The solution was the installation of a stunning 84-inch class Ultra High Definition display running Four Winds Interactive software. The large LG display effectively captured and held travelers' attention as they rode down the escalator, allowing them to process wayfinding information before reaching the decision point. The result was a significantly improved passenger experience with less stress and more seamless navigation. The project was a success, with the new LG sign becoming a notable feature that passengers often stop to admire.
