Marriott Hotels and LG Electronics Revolutionize Hotel Experience with Innovative Technology, Intuitive Design and a personalized experience

Marriott Hotels, through its Marriott Charlotte City Center “M Beta” property in Charlotte, N.C., wanted to reimagine the guest experience from check-in to check-out with a more modern, personalized, and technology-driven environment. To do that, Marriott partnered with LG Commercial Displays, using hotel TVs, interactive displays, and other LG technology across guest rooms, common areas, and guest services.

LG Commercial Displays helped transform the 30-year-old hotel into a flexible, contemporary space with 444 guest rooms featuring 55-inch LG hotel LED TVs and in-room content streaming, plus a 3x3 video wall and soundbar in the fitness center, interactive displays in meeting and check-in areas, and LG Studio appliances in the collaborative kitchen space. The result was a complete overhaul of the property’s look and feel, creating a more immersive and customizable guest experience; the case study does not provide hard financial metrics, but it highlights the hotel as a model for the future of hospitality design.
