Marriott Hotels faced the challenge of enhancing its dated and uninspiring hotel fitness centers to meet the needs of modern, fitness-oriented travelers. Guests sought flexible workout solutions but were often forced to use their own devices to stream content in the gym. To address this, Marriott turned to its long-time technology partner, LG Commercial Displays.

LG provided a solution using a daisy-chained video wall of its displays and soundbars, which were paired with Fitness on Demand's interactive content library. This created an immersive and customizable workout experience for guests, offered at no additional cost. The implementation at the Charlotte property resulted in a flood of positive feedback, with guests comparing the experience to an "elevated health club," and Marriott plans to install more LG video walls across its locations.
