How Tech Mahindra Deployed Hyperledger Fabric for the Digital Transformation of Abu Dhabi’s Land Registry

Tech Mahindra faced the challenge of modernizing the paper-based land registry system for the Abu Dhabi City Municipality (ADM). The process was slow, taking up to six years to complete a land deed, and involved multiple stakeholders using disparate systems, leading to inefficiencies and a lack of a single source of truth. To address this, Tech Mahindra leveraged its expertise to deploy a blockchain-based solution using Hyperledger Fabric.

The solution implemented by Tech Mahindra created a secure, transparent, and automated platform built on the existing Smart Hub application. This allowed all stakeholders, including government entities and citizens, to share, view, and verify land deeds digitally on an immutable ledger. The results included a streamlined, touchless process that enhanced security, eliminated manual errors, and provided a single source of truth, thereby boosting trust for citizens and foreign investors. Tech Mahindra's deployment ensured the ADM could oversee the network while safeguarding sensitive citizen data.
