Suncorp Group, one of Australia’s largest financial services companies, needed to replace an underperforming content capture system that couldn’t deliver the service quality, monitoring, and reporting required for its paper-heavy mortgage, claims, and onboarding processes. The company turned to Lexmark, using products such as Lexmark Capture, Transformation Modules, VRS Elite, Monitor, Front Office Server, and Import Connector to modernize its document handling.

Lexmark helped Suncorp Group implement a paperless capture and workflow solution that digitized, classified, validated, routed, and redacted documents across offices. The results included faster mortgage processing, scanning times cut in half in three mailrooms, 100,000 pages of paper saved annually in onboarding, and more than 400 trees and 80 tons of carbon emissions reduced each year; Suncorp also reported processing more loans at the same fixed cost and achieving over 95% redaction hit rates.
