Stater, the largest mortgage service provider in the Netherlands, needed a faster, less paper-heavy way to process building expense claims for home renovation and construction loans. Working with Lexmark and using Kofax Mobile Capture SDK and Kofax Transformation, the company sought to replace a slow manual process that required scanning receipts, entering data, and mailing forms back and forth.

Lexmark helped Stater launch a mobile app that lets customers submit claims anytime and anywhere by photographing invoices and receipts on their smartphones. The new process cut payout time from about five working days to as little as one day, and early results showed 60% of building loan customers using the app, while Stater also expects lower costs, less risk, and higher productivity.
