A Lexmark Case Study
Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, serving more than 550,000 residents across three facilities in England, was struggling with paper-heavy workflows that slowed operations, increased storage needs, and made document access difficult. The trust needed a flexible, scalable document management solution that could integrate with existing hospital systems, and selected Lexmark’s Perceptive Content.
Lexmark implemented Perceptive Content to digitize and streamline processes across clinical departments, accounts payable, HR, commercial services, and risk management. The result was faster invoice approvals for about 72,000 invoices a year, instant access to employee and delivery records, reduced searching time, less storage use, and improved compliance; in commercial services, tasks that once took up to half an hour can now be done instantly.
