Case Study: North American Grocery achieves thousands of labor hours saved with Lexmark Print and Digital Signage

A Lexmark Case Study

Preview of the North American Grocery Case Study

One system for shelf-edge signage handles both in-store and central printing for major operational savings

North American Grocery, one of the largest grocery chains with more than 1,600 locations across the U.S. and Canada, needed a more efficient way to manage shelf-edge signs and labels while cutting labor costs. It had been using Lexmark’s Print and Digital Signage solution in stores alongside a separate third-party provider for central printing, creating duplicate work and extra template updates.

Lexmark implemented a unified Print and Digital Signage solution with Central Publisher, Template Designer, and in-store printing within the retailer’s Linux environment. The result was thousands of labor hours saved each month, lower printing and materials costs, less waste, and more accurate, up-to-date signage across all stores.
