The North Dakota University System (NDUS), a 11-campus higher education network serving nearly 45,000 students, struggled with paper-based processes, inconsistent content management across campuses, and slow sharing of student records that could take hours to weeks. NDUS had previously introduced Lexmark Perceptive Content at some institutions, but needed a unified approach to better manage admissions, transcripts, financial data, and other student information.

Working with Lexmark, NDUS consolidated all 11 campuses onto a single Perceptive Content platform and began rolling out Perceptive TransForm and retention policies to digitize forms and streamline workflows. The result was faster, more secure information sharing, lower courier and paper-handling costs, and quicker response times for students—from weeks to just a few days—while freeing staff to focus more on student service.
