A Lexmark Case Study
Montgomery County Community College (MCCC) needed to streamline time-consuming administrative processes that were slowing student service and making it harder for staff to quickly access records. To support its goal of improving student success, the college turned to Lexmark and its Perceptive Content document management solution, choosing it in part for its integration with Ellucian applications.
Lexmark implemented Perceptive Content to connect documents directly to student records in registration, financial aid, and admissions, with automated scanning and workflow routing. The result was faster service, immediate access to files, improved FERPA compliance, reduced paperwork and errors, and measurable time savings: what once took 24 to 48 hours to locate could now be retrieved while the student was still at the desk.
