A Lexmark Case Study
The School District of Springfield Township, serving 3,400 students in Pennsylvania’s Delaware County, struggled with unreliable, ink-hungry legacy inkjet printers that were difficult to manage and costly to maintain. Teacher and technology consultant Hank Bohinick needed a more dependable, budget-friendly printing solution for the district’s classrooms, and turned to Lexmark for help.
Lexmark installed and evaluated monochrome laser printers, which quickly proved faster, higher quality, and far more economical than the old inkjets. The district phased in Lexmark printers across all four schools, and the devices have continued running for more than a decade, printing nearly 40,000 pages a year each. The switch delivered clear savings, improved reliability, and easier classroom use, with Lexmark also providing responsive technical support.
