A Lexmark Case Study
Great Kingshill Combined School, an education provider with over 400 pupils and 50 teachers, needed to cut printing costs and improve efficiency after budget reductions. The school was relying on a mix of old HP and Dell printers, which made supplies complicated to manage and forced teachers to go to the staff room for scanning and copying tasks. Lexmark was chosen to replace the school’s aging print setup with more reliable, cost-effective devices.
Lexmark installed an X945e multifunction colour laser device in the school office and Pinnacle Pro901 all-in-one inkjet devices in 14 classrooms and the secretary’s office. Lexmark also trained staff, improved print management, and helped with recycling and print-awareness efforts. As a result, Great Kingshill Combined School reduced print costs by 15-20%, cut pages printed by 10% in the first six months, improved productivity, and lowered its carbon footprint.
