A Lexmark Case Study
Groene Hart Hospital, a Dutch healthcare provider serving about 300,000 residents, needed to move from NIAZ accreditation to ISO9001 certification while reducing the paperwork and bureaucracy that can come with hospital-wide quality programs. Using Lexmark’s Perceptive Process, the hospital aimed to manage certification across its 30 departments and support linked processes in areas such as purchasing, ICT, and HRM.
Lexmark’s Perceptive Process helped Groene Hart Hospital reuse more than 1,200 modeled processes for a phased ISO9001 rollout, starting with Pediatrics and Radiology. The result was a more flexible, digital quality system that reduced paper handling, improved process visibility, and helped the hospital better meet patient needs by streamlining care and shortening waiting times.
