A Lexmark Case Study
The Charity Commission of England & Wales, the UK regulator for 160,000 charities, needed to improve search on its website for nine million annual visitors. Its old Google Mini search was not intuitive and could not support smarter searching across more than 500,000 pages and many file formats, making it hard for users to quickly find relevant information.
Lexmark implemented Perceptive Search, integrated with the Commission’s Punch content management system, to add metadata, filter restricted content, and recognize acronyms for more relevant results. As a result, visitors can now search across previously hidden content and use advanced search logic to find information faster and more accurately, improving site usability and satisfaction.
